Sadie

The first time I laid eyes on you, I knew right from the start, that you were meant for me alone, you put pawprints on my heart.

Sadie has taught me a lot about myself and who I am as a person. I cannot imagine my life without the Sadie Princess and thank her every day for being a part of my life. Sadie was my first show prospect and even earned a 4 point major by going BOS over specials. I was pretty speechless when I walked out of that ring. Sadie never finished but had 7 points with one major before being spayed.

Sadie and I have done training for herding, obedience, rally, conformation, agility and therapy dog.

She enjoys agility the best and even though she is now seven I have no doubts in my mind we will finish several more agility titles before she is officially retired.

Sadie is my heart dog and all that she and I have been through, I still cherish her and her amazing personality. I don't know if I would have had another Cardigan as my first dog, if I would be so 'in' to them as I am now because of Sadie Girl. She is an amazing ambassador for the breed to all that she meets. I'm so honored to have her in my life.

Sadie passed away somewhat unexpectedly from congestive heart failure. after her initial injury that involved my grandfather, I cherished every day with her. She was my constant companion through many years of solitude. She moved with me many times always taking the events in stride and loved visiting people, children, farms, other dogs, and loved a good road trip. She is always in my thoughts, my mind and I still talk to her every day. If ever there was a heart dog, she was mine and i cannot wait until I get to be reunited with her.
