Here at Ebonwald, we never keep litters a secret until they are whelped. ALL information regarding both parents is made to you well in advance of the actual whelp so you can learn and know as much about the parent's history, health, temperament and lineage as possible. A well educated buyer is a good one! We never test our own dogs and then breed to dogs that are untested or are tested and fail their tests. What good is that? We have never had anything to hide and are proud of our dogs and their accomplishments. We always enclose copies of parents certificates in the puppy information buyers take home. This litter is very exciting for me! Having originally wanted to use Can/Am Merrymoon Firestorm aka Hunter on Ell, I fell for Pilot (Hunter son) at the National this year. Pilot and Ell both have outstanding temperaments, happy-go-lucky attitudes and very 'busy' by nature. This litter is a slight line breeding on my mentor's two foundation dogs Phi-Vestavia Pirate's Patch and Phi-Vestavia Unforgettable.
Here in the house, Ell is the ear cleaner and all around go-to gal for playtime! Ell is also a natural for agility and we will start with agility again this summer after pups are weaned. Ell earned 10 of her 12 points out of the puppy classes in four weekends of shows, and then we showed two weekends in 2009, earning a point each weekend. She is still looking for that last major!
Pilot had quite a weekend at the Rose City Cluster, January 2009. He was Winners Dog 3 days of the 4, for 3 majors. In addition he was Best of Opposite Sex all three of those days and Best of Winners two of them. They then held him out until the CWCCA nationals in April. Pilot finished his championship on 06/21/09, BOW and BOS over specials for a fourth major.
Puppy colors could include brindle, red/sable or blacks (tan or brindle pointed). Parents are both VERY health tested!
